Compact 4-Axis Robot for Precise Pick & Place Automation
The igus SCARA RL-SCR-0100.B is a cost-effective 4-axis robot with a reach of 560 mm and a Z-axis stroke of 500 mm. With a payload of up to 2 kg, positioning accuracy of ±0.5 mm, and speeds up to 20 picks per minute, it’s ideal for precise handling and sorting tasks. Built from tribologically optimized plastics, it offers long service life and minimal maintenance.
Control is optionally provided via the free igus® Robot Control, available in cabinet or DIN rail versions. The intuitive software includes digital I/Os, Modbus TCP/IP, ROS packages, and a 3D interface. Alternatively, each axis can be operated individually using the dryve D1 motor controller.
Typical applications include pick & place, conveyor loading, lab automation, and light assembly. Thanks to modular integration, the RL-SCR-0100.B is ideal for flexible automation in compact production environments.
